This past Saturday July 15, 2017 Our Children and their spouses with our Grandchildren seven in number gave us a grand reception for our 50th Wedding Anniversary. What a momentous occasion very few reach. Both our set of Parents were present in picture of their 50th Anniversary reception .Mr. & Mrs Denny L & Lillie Belle Riddle O'Shields in 1969 and Mr.& Mrs Worley & Beatrice Rice Wilson in 1989
We were so happy when we walked into the church to see our sweet loving children and grandchildren. had worked so hard arranging our reception. It was an emotional feeling of love to see their smiling faces.And they were dressed as for a wedding.
To see such a beautiful display. of white tablecloths with candles, confetti of white hearts and gold number 50 and white roses on the guests tables., A special table for cards & gifts.

In the center of the room was our table with a beautiful 50th anniversary Candle on it. facing a large screen which later was played a video scrolling through our life of special pictures from the beginning that was professional made. With music from our selection.And the long table with all the prepared food from a shrimp ring ,roast beef ,and Chicken . Fruit trays and nuts Chip n dips so much food with a large Punch bowel and a choice of tea or coffee ,and in the middle was displayed a beautiful Gold and white 50th Anniversary Wedding Cake with a back drop of balloons and a large sign with 50th anniversary on it, At the end of the table was an arbor decorated with toil and lights with a white wrought Iron bench under it. The love we felt that day will last until our last day here. Our Children and grandchildren gave us a special gift a beautiful hand crafted China Plate from Ireland with an Irish Blessing inscribed on it. retro style wedding selections look vintage
We appreciated so much those guests ,our family and friends who gave a portion of their Saturday to help us celebrate our 50 years together.It was a blessing to see everyone who came.
