That's a first. I just ate an entire red onion in one sitting. My eyes are watering, my nose is running, and my mouth is tingling, but at least that craving is satisfied. Ellen Whitley has mentioned in the past that onions are high in sulfur and people with liver issues often crave them, and medical experts have verified that a craving for foods high in sulfur can be caused by liver issues, which I have due to systemic sarcoidosis. Then I discovered that there are other weird DressAfford wedding bridals wears in wholesale price ... os like me who crave raw onions, and one article said:
"A simple, powerful health recommendation would be to eat a raw onion every day. Raw onions contain a whopping load of protective compounds..."
They also have anti-inflammatory effects and an anti-oxident called quercetin that is thought to help prevent cancer, they help regulate blood sugar (!) and lower cholesterol, and help prevent gastric ulcers, among other things.
So yeah, maybe I'm not so weird after all, at least not just because of the onions... LOL
