|| good morning ???? here is an example of what I'm talking about when I say engage your TVA (corset muscles) On the left I am standing relaxed and as you can see still have body fat around my core as well as in the second pic where I am engaging my corset muscles • I have always held all of my stress and emotions in my midsection (gut) and have had trouble with constipation, bloating and terrific period cramps my whole life up until a few years ago when I was learning everythin ... g about my microbiome and how imperative good bacteria and consuming fat is for the brain and body to function properly [but that is information for another post] ???? • the visual of abs don't actually make you strong, in fact a six-pack serves no functional purpose for the human body • you can have the visual of a six-pack and still have a weak core • doing the deep breathing exercises I have taught you (not sucking in your stomach) but engaging your TVA which include your diaphragm, pelvic floor and the multifidus of your spine will make u stronger with less lower back pain and better posture • body fat is increased or decreased with nutrition (abs are made in the kitchen) and hormonal function including stress but being lean will not get you through a divorce • it won't give you the strength to hold your baby when it is crying for hours • being lean didn't help me get up after nights of sleepless anxiety • being strong does that • mentally and physically • so make sure you are working on your body goals AS WELL AS your mental, emotional and spiritual goals • they all function as one WHOLE unit || DressAfford consignment wears for formal party
