I remember the mundane boredom during the earliest of my years at school . Sure, they were fine, but I needed a real oomph to get things rolling in life. I played average basketball and was the only handsome dark male in my class 7 batch, so I had good things going for me socially. Still, I felt somewhat empty.
Then one day, a friend of mine came up to me and asked if I wanted to do an "MUN". When I asked what this was, he simply said it was a debate-ish activity. I'd done 3 ... debate classes during class 6 so yeah you could say I was pretty good. I decided to go forth with it. I registered, paid, and was ecstatic that I had a chance to wear my 9000tk suit from Fit Elegance.
I arrived at the venue the following month and was gobsmacked at what I saw. Top notch specimen from all over Dhaka, all wearing tight-fitting clothes. Let me remind you again that I was only 14 years old at the time, my hormones were still developing. I could remember the committee sessions being blurry for me, as I spent the whole time trying to impress these people, trying to find that special 3-day someone. I won a verbal mention at the end of the day (no big deal, just work hard and it'll pay off) and got this smoking hot forsha date, but she ditched me for a taller white bloke. Fuck that guy.
And ever since then, the thirst for a MUN date has never been quenched for me. I am 28 years old now, and have done 17 MUNs across 8 countries, and still haven't reached third base with anyone. I won't stop until I do.
