How to Improve the Reputation of Network Marketing
One of the reasons network marketing sometimes has an image problem is because of the amateurs and posers who are out in the world overstating income claims, setting unrealistic expectations, and treating people like they’re a commodity—something to “get.” Cheap sales talk permeates our profession, and it needs to stop.
Regardless of how you got into network marketing, we all know the reality of this profession. We have the ... greatest profession in the world for an entrepreneurially minded person. Period.
We have the lowest risk and the highest rewards, and one of the greatest benefits of building a business out of your home: flexible time.
We all know these things are great, but if we’re going to change the perception of our profession, guess what needs to happen? All of us need to up our game. We need to build a culture that is more professional, and act like professionals. When people see us as network marketing professionals, they see us not as a person just trying to “get” people into our organizations with cheap sales talk. They see us as professionals trying to help people create freedom in their lives. Dress Affordable chic wedding pieces with lace top
It begins with us. If you happen to be in a company that allows or promotes bad behavior, be the distributor who takes a stand on good behavior. Be a professional, and build a culture around that. Your team will follow suit, and the company probably will too. Don’t take the shortcut that will cheapen your image and your credibility. Start with yourself, and build from there. We’ll all be better off.
